Summary of Zion's Recent Mission Activity
A total of $606.09 has been collected in five months (first Sundays of Jan--May) for WHEAT through the "Give Thanks and a Nickel" project.

Our community tomato garden has been planted-- two dozen plants in the hay bales along the fence in front of the Christian Center. The hay bales, plants, soaker hose and water timer, and fertilizer were all donated by members of the church or those connected to Zion. By July we should have a nice crop of tomatoes to give away to our neighbors in the Beaverdam area.

69 boxes of cereal and other food items were donated to WHEAT in March and April.

The Disciples Women and Disciples Men both held successful fundraisers on Sat. May 14 to support their many community ministry projects.
